Week 3

Another busy week! We have attended Bible Studies, church events, and gone to 2 more homes this week. Today, Jim is taking another test for school and the kids are helping at a Youth car wash. Tonight we are attending a concert. Some folks in the church participate in a gospel choir, and they invited us to go. Tomorrow is a full day of church activities. Monday evening, we have another church special event to attend.

School is wrapping up for the year, for Nathan and Alicia. This week should be our last. Tests and a paper to finish. Jim, however, still has 2 more weeks. His big week is next week. His big project is due and he is preaching next Sunday. And he has to fit in time with visitors, Jamie and my parents!

We are beginning to get a little vision of what can happen here. We have been asked to work with families within our age group, and so that is what we will concentrate on for now. We are planning a social event in the next 2 weeks. A BBQ and game time at a local park, still working on a specific date. We also want to do some kind of service project together to bond us as a team. We are praying for a couple of dates where most can make it. Kind of hard to build a team when only a few show up.

Our "nephew-in-law", Jeff, continues to improve. His latest complications are hallucinations, and movement in his arm is limited to below his elbow. They are x-raying his shoulder today to see if they can locate the problem. They are trying different pain medications to see if they can eliminate the hallucinations.

Have a super weekend and week ahead. God Bless you for your support and encouragement.
